With the holidays right around the corner, there is only one thing on my mind: DESSERT!Apple Crumble Audrina 4

The delicate, delicious winter dessert recipe was passed along by my friend  Neda Varbanova from Healthy with Nedi! This dessert is loaded with heart healthy fats and high-fiber content, meaning it is the perfect blend of healthy & delicious. An apple crumble is a great dessert to whip up for holiday guests  —  you can prepare and bake it early in the day, then heat it up just before serving! HINT: For an extra treat, add vanilla ice cream (Nedi’s favorite is Luna & Larry’s Coconut Bliss!)

What You’ll Need:
Apple Filling:
1 1/2 Organic Fuji Apples, peeled and cut into small pieces
1-2 Tbsp Honey
1 Tsp Cinnamon

Crumble Topping:
½ Cup Gluten-Free Oats
½ Cup Walnuts, Chopped
1/3 Cup Coconut Oil, melted
1 Tbsp Coconut Sugar

Topping:
Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream

What To Do:
1. Preheat oven to 350° F and lightly grease 4 ramekins with coconut oil.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples with honey and cinnamon. Distribute the mix evenly on the bottom of the ramekins.
3. Combine all of the crumble ingredients in a bowl, and stir until mixed throughly. Spread out the crumble mixture over the apples and bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden.
4. Serve with coconut yogurt or vanilla ice cream if desired. Enjoy!
