I couldn’t help but browse through some of the items included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I think I’ve made a huge mistake! Well it seemed like a mistake at first, but some of the pieces I’ve had my eye on are discounted like crazy and the prices are too good to pass up. So here’s to you, Nordstrom! Making my day one sale at a time.

Let’s Talk Weddings

02 / 11 / 16

Being pregnant isn’t easy, but on top of that, I am planning my wedding, too! To say I have a lot on my plate is a complete understatement, which is why Corey and I have decided to go with our original plan and get married after the baby is born. We are doing it backwards, I know! But, God’s timing is everything, and I am confident that this is the way things are supposed to be (Plus, I have a feeling our wedding photos will be extra adorable with our little baby in our arms instead of in my tummy!).

For all of you who have planned a wedding before, you know how stressful it is! And for those of you who haven’t, I am here to tell you how crazy it is. I’ve dreamt about this day for my entire life, but I had no idea where to start when it actually came time to start planning. So, I’ve broken it down into steps and wanted to share some pointers I’ve learned along the way! We are far from being done, but I promise to keep you all updated as we go.

1. The proposal!

2. Spend hours on Pinterest. I’ve created a Pinterest board with different ideas, themes, and dresses!

3. Find a location. Corey and I made a list of our top 3 locations for the big day. Hint: We are leaning towards a destination wedding!

4. Insure your ring!
5. Select your team. AKA bridesmaids and groomsmen.

6. Make a guest list. You guys have no idea how difficult this was! We want our wedding to be small and intimate, so we made a list of family and close friends, then eliminated people we haven’t spoken to in the past year, then the past 6 months, and so on until we had our finalized guest list.

7. Take engagement photos! We are currently in the process of doing this step. My advice is to choose a few locations and outfits and be sure to shoot somewhere that totally defines who you are as a couple. And don’t be afraid to go all out! Being flirty, cute, romantic, and silly will produce the best results (I’m ALL about candid moments).
8. Find THE DRESS. I’m super picky and know exactly what I want, so I’m not surprised that I’ve already tried on about 20 dresses and have yet to find the perfect dress. So, the hunt continues!

Well, this is where we are at. Once we lock in a date and location, we will send out save the dates and let the fun begin! In the meantime, does anyone have any guesses as to where we will tie the knot? Happy guessing:)

It’s a…

12 / 18 / 15

I have some AMAZING news to share with you all! It has been incredibly difficult keeping my mouth shut on this one because all I’ve wanted to do is shout it from the rooftops! But, now that my doctor has given me the OK, it is safe to announce that…. I’m PREGGERS!!!:) You guys don’t even understand how hard this was to keep a secret, but my family and close friends did a good job of hiding the news, which made it a little bit easier.

It started with me not feeling too well — I didn’t feel sick, but I definitely knew something was off between my mood swings and lack of energy. So, I took the test and TA-DA! I couldn’t even believe my eyes. I called Corey upstairs to make sure I wasn’t just seeing things and, well, let’s just say that he had a permanent smile glued to his face for the rest of the night!

The difficult thing was that we were going to a dinner party, and I knew I had to keep it a secret, so I told everyone I was on a detox cleanse to cover my lack of alcohol consumption. With the combination of my poor lying skills and Corey’s perma-smile, we were given ‘the look’ over and over again by our friends and family, so it’s safe to say the secret was not a secret much longer!

So far, I haven’t had any morning sickness, I just feel very tired and like I have a major hangover when I wake up, which is a change for me because I’m constantly on-the-go! As far as finding out the sex of the baby…We just want it to be healthy:) Girl or boy, we will be ecstatic either way! Corey’s mum wants it to be a surprise, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait! I guess we will just have to wait and see. God has a plan for us, and even though it is all happening so fast, I am confident that I’m ready to be a mama!

Keep checking back here for more updates!:) And thank you so much for the support, love, and congratulations. You guys are amazing!

My 2015 Hair Makeover

01 / 12 / 15

Hey guys! So I have been wanting to do something fun and different with my hair, i decided to go all out!:) I love the new 2015 silver/ pastel color trend… so we went for it!

Since I’m not the expert ill let my amazing hair stylist Briana Cisneros explain…  hope you like!

“I lifted Audrina from a level 6 brunette to a level 9 & 10 blonde using a blonding powder with olaplex to protect her hair during processing.

Using a heavy foiling technique in combination with free hand painted balayage throughout the hair.

We toned her entire head with an icy steel toner before our second color application.

We melted together smokey pastel silver, with a champagne blonde and light powdery lilac.

We used cooler tones to compliment Audrina’s olive base skin tone.

This color is for the dedicated and not for the faint of heart. It takes 8 hours in the salon, along with home care and revisiting the salon for upkeep.
