Kirra Max Bohan

08 / 24 / 16

Alright… It’s time! Everyone is asking to see baby Kirra, and I can’t hold back any longer! We are so beyond in love with her!! I never imagined I could love someone with all that I have, but my love for her grows each and every day. And since everyone has been so patient, I wanted to share a couple of pictures with you all:)

We are so incredibly lucky! Kirra is the happiest, most beautiful baby with a constant smile and lots of goo-ing and gaa-ing! She loves giving Corey and I the biggest smiles, but I can’t wait until she giggles for the first time — right now she gives lots of expressions but no noise. She sleeps 6-7 hours a night (only waking up once or twice) and is pretty laid back (unless of course she’s hungry, has to burp, needs a diaper change, or gets restless!).

I absolutely love being a mom — Kirra is my number one priority.  If I’m being completely honest, the first month of no sleep, C-Section recovery, unpacking, and getting back into the swing of things was pretty grueling. But, at the end of the day, all I had to do was take one look at Kirra and none of that mattered anymore.  Plus, we had tons of help from our amazing friends and family! My new in-laws came out from Australia to stay with us for a bit, so we’ve had a few extra hands around the house.

Kirra is 8-weeks old now, and our lives are starting to settle down to normal. I’m no longer experiencing pregnancy brain, a roller coaster of emotions, or a lack of energy — In fact, I am officially back on my Pilates grind! But let me tell you, my core does NOT work out the way it used to… but I will get there! Once I have my routine in place, I’ll do a post on post-baby workout tips:)

I know these pictures were a long time coming, so I want to thank you all for your patience. I guess this new parenting thing has made us a little overprotective of our baby, but now that we have had time to soak it all in and adjust to our newest addition, I can’t wait to begin this journey as a new mother and share everything I learn along the way!

Keep checking back here for more updates, XOXO

How Decorist Transformed My Bedroom Into a Bali Bungalow

08 / 19 / 16

This year has been insane! We’ve had a lot of amazing things happen back to back, but the two most life-changing would have to be the birth of our baby girl, Kirra, and our move to our beautiful new home! I was 8-months pregnant when we made the move, so that first month in our new home was a whirlwind of unpacking, preparing for Kirra, and adjusting to life as a new mom.

Audrina Bedroom 3

My goal was to have the nursery and my bedroom done before she arrived, which is easier said than done — I could barely see my toes! I started looking at furniture online for inspiration, and I’m happy to announce that stumbling across Decorist was probably the best thing that ever happened to our house. For just $299 a room, Decorist matches you with an interior designer to help design your room virtually!

I teamed up with Decorist’s Ashley Redmond — who turned out to be amazing — and we chatted for a while so she could get a feel for the Bali Bungalow vibe I was going for. I had already ordered the Lombok Bed from Anthropologie, so we used this piece as the focal point of the room. Ashley and I went back and forth with Pinterest ideas until my vision came alive! She sent me a final render so I could see how everything would look in my room, and I loved it! I couldn’t have been happier!

How To Wear Denim

08 / 17 / 16

I can’t get enough of denim! From blue jeans, to dark wash, and even to destroyed, denim is one of the most versatile fabrics and I’m loving it. If I could, I would wear denim 24/7 — not only is it incredibly comfy, but it also saves me time picking out bottoms — which is why I’ve been experimenting with my denim pieces to see how many ways I can style them!

No matter the type, denim will always be a classic staple in my wardrobe. Here are my 5 favorite ways to wear denim:

1. Skinny to the ankle

Favorite Candle Scents for a Relaxing Night in

08 / 12 / 16

I love scents! Although many of you are familiar with my essential oil obsession, there is something extremely calming about burning a delicious smelling candle. Plus, we’ve been spending a lot of nights in with Kirra (no complaints!) and cherishing every extra second we have to relax, so candles have gained more significance in our household as of recently.

We are exhausted — yes — but we sometimes need a little help winding down after a chaotic day, and my candle collection has been a huge hit. Over time, I’ve found there are 5 scents that I can’t resist when it is time for a little R&R! See below for 5 of my favorite candle scents for a relaxing night in:

1. Vanilla: Relaxation

2. Eucalyptus: Healing

3. Lavender Candle: Calming

4. Brown Sugar Candle: Comforting

5. Apple Cinnamon Candle: Warming

What is your favorite scent?
