Music Festival Fashion

03 / 30 / 16

We are officially approaching music festival season! Dressing for a music festival can be tricky — You want to be comfortable, but you also want to look your best because music festival season represents everything we love about street style. When summer trends roll around, we all know we’ll be able to say that we saw it at Coachella first!

Flower crowns, boho tops, and ripped denim always manage to make an appearance at music festivals, but what are the trendsetters predicting for this year? Well, just because I won’t be in attendance doesn’t mean I can’t contribute some ideas for successfully nailing fashion at this year’s music festivals! Here are some of my favorite looks below:

Pregnant Woman’s Guide to Stylish Maternity Wear

03 / 28 / 16

My little bump is growing RAPIDLY, which means my wardrobe selection is beginning to dwindle down to the nitty-gritty. Those high waist jeans are a no-go, my fitted tops are a bit too fitted, and I might as well throw those bodycon dresses out the window until our little princess is out of my tummy and in my arms!

Although I’ve purchased a few maternity items here and there, I find myself favoring non-maternity clothes that I can transform into maternity wear. Why? Because maternity clothing is so limiting, and I don’t want my pregnancy to be lacking in the fashion department!

So, to avoid completely switching over to maternity wear, I’ve created a few style hacks that I spilled to Brit + Co and now I want to share them with you! Here are 5 styles my baby bump and I are loving!

1. Flowy Dresses
I have literally been living in my Free People and Spell Byron Bay flowy dresses. Not only are they incredibly comfortable, but they can also be styled with or without a belt to show off the bump!

2. Boho Tops
Again, it’s all about comfort! I don’t like wearing anything too restrictive, especially when I’m driving or sitting, so boho tops have become my go-to!

3. Accessories
When you’re limited in the wardrobe department, what do you do? Accessorize! I love wearing black leggings, boots, and tons of accessories while I’m pregnant. Hats, scarves, loads of jewelry — you name it!

10 Shoes For Any Occasion

03 / 24 / 16

I have a serious love-hate relationship with shoes! Love: New shoes, obviously. Hate: The constant urge to buy more. I know I’m not alone — almost every woman has a shoe obsession — so let’s get straight to the point and skip the denial phase because we already know the inevitable: I, Audrina Patridge, am completely and utterly obsessed with shoes!

It’s true, shoes are very high on my list of guilty pleasures. But, for anyone like me, shoe shopping can be difficult if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking! Let’s face it, those new Steve Madden boots are going to lure me in even if I already have 3 pairs that are similar styles.

What I’ve come to learn is that it’s better to have several shoes that can be put with practically anything, rather than having a huge selection of unique pairs that can only go with select portions of your wardrobe. So, see below for 10 of my favorite pairs that are perfect for any occasion!

1. Dindle Suede Ankle Boot
2. Prettty Slip Ons
3. Steve Madden Troopa2-0 Boots
4. Reggie Boots
5. Soludos Slippers
6. Sofiia Heels
7. Lecrew Flats
8. Orabela Boots
9. Marye Heels
10. Bailey Wrap Around Heels

5 Items I Can’t Live Without

03 / 22 / 16

Although I love each and every item I own, I would be lying if I didn’t say that there are a few select things I cannot live without! What it comes down to is two things: Want versus need. Sounds easy, right?

Well, think about it — When narrowing down your list of items you can’t live without, it’s easy to get caught up in sentimental clothing items (like that off-the-shoulder top you refuse to throw out because it reminds you of your run in with Britney Spears at Starbucks).  But, this time of the year marks the beginning of Spring cleaning, which is why it’s time to bust open our bags and start sorting!

Here is a list of 5 items I cannot live without!

1. Black Leggings
Does anyone else have a legging obsession? I practically live in these things. Not only are they a comfortable substitution for pants, but they also to expand with my growing bump!

Leggings I love: BP Essential Leggings

2. Lip balm
There’s nothing worse than being in a conversation with someone and realizing your lips are a chapped mess! My lip balm is on me at all times because I never know when I’m going to need it.

Lip balm I love: Rosebud Salve by Rosebud Perfume Co.

3. Black Booties
If you don’t already own a pair of black booties, you are committing a serious fashion crime! My booties are my go-to shoe for when I want to be comfy and look stylish.

Black booties I love: Free People Westmont Black Ankle Bootie

4. Sunglasses
We all know I have a sunglass obsession, so it’s no surprise that my sunglasses are one of the first things I would grab if I had to evacuate the house (After making sure Corey and Lady made it out safely, obviously!).

Sunglasses I love: ‘Fleur’ Retro Sunglasses

5. Floppy Hat
Floppy hats are on trend, easy to wear, and the solution to even the worst hair days! Every girl should have a simple floppy hat in her wardrobe for those late mornings.

Floppy hats I love: Free People Pompom Hat
