The outside temperatures are rapidly dropping, which means I can (finally) bring out some of my winter clothes! Although the chilly weather calls for extra outfit preparation, nothing makes me happier than being able to pull my warm coats out of the back of my closet. From puffy jackets, to long coats, and even to fuzzy vests — these babies have been hibernating for far too long!
Personally, I’m OBSESSED with this outfit because it gives off a winter vibe, but it also shows just enough skin to coordinate with LA’s current 60° weather. I purposely paired this adorable vest with a simple top and distressed jeans to make it the main element of the look and added statement shoes to pull out the different shades of brown! It’s simple, chic, and the perfect transition outfit for winter!
If you have yet to take advantage of the Farmer’s Market at The Grove in LA, then you are seriously missing out. Not only does it have the freshest ingredients, but it is also HUGE, which means I can make a day out of browsing through the countless stands, candy counters, and unique eateries! Dressing for a day at the farmer’s market can be tricky, right? You want to look like you’re trying (but not too hard), casual (but chic), and comfortably stylish because nothing is worse than having to pull, adjust, and yank on your clothes all day long.
This particular outfits is one of my FAVES because it mixes two of my favorite styles: girly and grunge! The simple design of the dress puts a modern spin on the LBD (Little Black Dress), and the boots, beanie, and accessories in combination with the dress make for the perfect overlap outfit of summer and winter.
